DESCRIPTION:
Hebrew Home of Greater Washington provides programs based on Jewish Faith and Traditions that heal and comfort the spirit, as well as medications and treatments. HHGW understands that it has the responsibility of making life worth living while it helps its aged residents live.
Seders, Kosher meals, pastoral counseling, religious celebrations and activities are not reimbursed by Medicaid or Medicare.
Donations have helped to provide:
- Extensive activities
- Alzheimer's care
- Intensive therapy
- On-site medical care
- Warm Jewish environment
- Defray the cost of caring for those who have exhausted their funds.
